Good stuff Dunedin

Great to see Dunedin experts and social activists leading the Wise Response call on Parliament to assess the climate change threat to New Zealand: a common sense request championed by Professor Sir Alan Mark, and supported by thoughtful parties.

I’ve recently supported fundraisers for the Heart Foundation (sitting in iced water), the Dunedin Night Shelter Trust (a sleepover in the Octagon), Canteen (exercycle challenge), and St John Ambulance.  All of these organisations rely heavily on volunteer effort to raise funds for their services. My thanks to the many volunteers that support these organisations and the valuable contributions they make to our community.
