I want to help build a stronger, more caring society. I am passionate about Dunedin, and I bring considerable energy and wide experience to the task of representing this electorate.

My diverse work background has given me an understanding of the economic and social levers that can be pulled to achieve meaningful change.

And we're off

Three newspapers have so far announced my candidacy:

The Dominion Post jumped the gun on 6 July.  The Star and the ODT have covered the story in recent days.

At this stage, a profile in the local newspapers is nice to have, but it’s not essential to my chances as a candidate.  It is the local members who will choose Pete Hodgson’s successor.  Having said that, I have greatly appreciated the encouraging comments from those who have seen the articles – friends, colleagues and members alike.
