Stand Up Otago
Stand Up Otago: Together we’re stronger! I’ve had some fun spreading the message via an aeroplane banner, and in my everyday – supporting events like the George Street Normal School Fair, the McGlashan Fete, the Southern Sinfonia’s Mozart and Dvorak concert, and the Port Chalmers Seafood Festival.
On the Invermay front, Agresearch and Minister Joyce must now respond to the clear message sent from the Otago community. The Minister has been presented with a well researched case, outlining what’s at stake for New Zealand as a whole. Let’s hope in the meantime that no news – is good news.

Great work, plane trip looks amazing and I bet the sea food festival was amazing.
Have you checked out Fish hook the restaurant? Great place to take the family to, yet more importantly they are fab people and can highlight how badly our Government has stuffed up our fishing quota debacle to support just a few big companies leaving the fisherman struggling to even afford insurance for their boats… Maybe a potentially hot issue that would gather support from Otago being such a big fishing community about giving it back to the community and having a nation wide referendum on how quota should be handled. Ie cutting out the middle man and supporting the people putting in the effort.
Keep up the great work David, I’m impressed at how far you have come and great campaign going for stand up Otago, as said talk to fish hook as I think a good niche to push is fishing quota.
Best
And why would your government need such a thing, the US will look after you LOL. Knowledge is dangerous, information is the business of corporations.
